With the added expense of the TurboTune you have the advantage of a new custom spring that is combined with a new Delrin spring guide that is custom hand fitted to your particular gun.

The TurboTune is a time consuming process but the long term advantages of the life of the gun is that it will probably never need to be tuned again, the torque is almost totally eliminated, the vibrations are nil and will almost never increase and if so be very negligible, the power, consistency and accuracy will vary little over time with normal shooting and will probably never need internal lubrication again.

Keep in mind though that main spring’s are subject to normal wear and tear and do break occasionally and are considered to be a maintenance item.

With either tune, the GRT-III is the icing on the cake. You will have the best value for the money spent and have an excellent shooter with power, no spring twang, very little torque, smooth cocking and a true two stage smooth trigger with an excellent firing cycle. Which ever tune you choose, your gun will be greatly improved and a totally different gun when returned.

The SuperTune is $119.00 and the TurboTune is $149.00. GRT-III trigger is an additional $30.00 regardless of the tune chosen. The prices include all parts, labor and return shipping. Turn around time is usually about three to four days.

Pre testing

Cocking shoe finishing

A Maccari custom spring and Apex seal for the TurboTune. In the TurboTune, I machine the spring guides from scratch, fitted to your particular gun and main spring, as well as the spring seat and guide seat to the trigger block where applicable and can machine tophats and spring spacers.

I can do that because I have your gun in front of me for measurements and that of course usually can't be done with shelf parts. My TurboTune provides a better over all operation of the gun reducing vibration, twang and shock. Now your gun will shoot more consistently, provide longer spring life, reduce spring cant, and
easier and smoother cocking. The TurboTune leads to further improved consistency and accuracy.

Depending on the type of piston, on some guns I also use stainless steel lower spring seats to help reduce spring torque reaction that causes the gun to rotate when fired. It’s an inexpensive worthwhile investment in your gun that will last for years and years.
